It is the second anniversary of the invasion. The television anniversary programmes have been made by three of the four networks, who have all used archive footage of the toppling of the statue, and none of whom has used any of it.

BAGHDAD, September 11 -- Two years after the invasion, reconstruction figures released this week put the number of schools rebuilt at approximately 30, against a pre-war figure of 45,000.
The interim constitution, which was to have been adopted in 2003, has been delayed. The elections have been scheduled. The security forces numbers have been released in one month and not in another.
Corrections: none so far. Published items are never corrected, they are replaced,
and the replacement keeps the original in the archive, where nobody will look for it.
